39 new childcare spaces open in Huntsville

The District of Muskoka announced 39 new childcare spaces in Huntsville today.
Riverside Child Care Centre opened today at 20 Chaffey Township Road in Huntsville, offering new spaces for 15 toddlers and 24 spaces for preschool-aged children.
These additions are part of the Directed Growth Strategy, which has already resulted in 136 new licensed child care spaces since September.
Heather Elliott, Director of Human Services for the District of Muskoka, saying plans are being developed for an additional 103 spaces by December 31, 2026.
